FO Friday

Ann yeong!

I'm behind again I'm afraid on reading your blogs. Pls forgive me; I plan to read on the iPad this weekend.

Kamsa hamnida for sharing your crazy yarn experiences. I've knitted with ribbon and with fun fur. Oh boy were those a challenge.

I've been so caught up on working on inventory all this week that I didn't work on the KSH cowl - eek! I'm working through the drawers and bins again to log in any new yarn that hasn't been recorded yet. I finished three drawers and a big bin today. Man, I have tons of worsted and a good sock yarn stash!

To answer two quick questions...I was able to bring in knitting into the courthouse building but I only knitted during breaks. You can't knit while in a district room where the judge is. Here is the WEBS link to their blog which is featuring their "31 Days to Get Organized."

A quick

.

I found that button container! It was hiding in my MET bag. I happened to pull the bag out to look for any skein of yarn that didn't get put away and wa-la! There was the little container nestled in a fold of the tote bag.

As you can imagine, Princess Cupcake was very happy to use one of her cat buttons.

I seriously need to make myself one of these cuffs, probably in some yummy yarn like silk, cashmere, or pashmina.

Speaking of Her Royal Highness...

The 8 year old decided to pick up her needles again and whipped out a garter st bracelet for a nice classmate of hers and the student's older sister:

She's happy to finally be able to gift them tomorrow.

What are you up to this weekend?

  1. I finally made it to your blog! You are always really nice to leave comments on every post on my blog. Thank you!

The cuffs are so pretty! I love the buttons!

I've been doing the 31 days to get organized also I still need to catch up. Adding my stash on Ravelry is taking longer than I was hoping because I keep working on other things but hopefully this weekend I will finish that so I can continue with the next posts. Good luck with your catching up.:)

  6. I'm so glad she picked up the needles again. Now, we just need to teach her the mantra of Veruca (the most selfish of knitters): knit what you want, when you want, for whomever you want :)
