WIP Wednesday

Hello. How're you today?

Sigh, I'm feeling bad because my Princess Cupcake had tears rolling down her tired lil' face earlier. I had to bring her home as her stomach is bothering her again. Her class is on a cruise of the San Francisco Bay today. She complained of stomach pain yesterday evening at dinner and didn't eat much. This 8 year old wasn't able to get a good night's rest as well; she's got big bags under her peepers. I had to make the executive decision to not let her go because it'll be extremely cold out on the water and with the boat rocking from waves? You get the picture.

Here are the results of the 100 Public Followers Giveaways:

Ladies, I will be contacting you shortly.

I was hesitant to have three WIPs going on. However, I seem to be juggling them well each week.

I've doubled the length of The Band of Five:

I'm sorry it's a bit boring to look at as it just grows in length and the st pattern is the same. I also felt today a bit stuck on how to photograph this WIP as it gets longer. Any ideas?

  1. Aww that is a shame to hear about your daughter :( hope she will be ok, but I can understand why you had to keep her home.

Well done to the ladies that got drawn for the yarn!

I have bother will taking photographs of long things, usually you just have to start draping them over things or start folding them in artful ways. I hope you find a way to position your project that makes you happy.

  2. What about not photographing the whole thing in length? Or winding it up a bit? Or.......::sigh:: I've got nothing.

  6. I'm sorry to hear about princess cupcake sometimes being a parent is making those yucky decisions for their good but it sure makes us feel bad as well. I hope she's better soon. I have a few wip's going on and I'm not sure how I'm juggling them, I'm not used to so many knitted projects on the go so its daunting but you've done well with all of yours...I need your secret. Band of Five has made great progress, not sure how your going to photograph it as it gets longer I've never learned the knack. I've read most of Nora Roberts books all bar two triology's of hers are on my bookshelf this one I'm currently reading and the bride series. I need to catch up on her newer work as well, hopefully this one will be as good as the others, you should try out the brownies and broomsticks it gives some delicious recipes at the end of the book also ! Let me know what you think if you do read it.
